About us
Krudtuglen in Sønder Nissum covers the entire area west of Ulfborg and is an integrated institution with nursery, kindergarten and after shool care where your child has a safe environment from the start in the nursery at the age of 6-9 months, continuing in kindergarten, and where your child also has a solid anchor before and after the school day with SFH and club up to and including 7th grade.
We offer all the advantages that a small institution can provide, in the form of a short distance between adult and child, good space, and room for each child’s development. We see your child, and your child sees us.
We are a parent-run institution that operates within the public framework with full freedom to adapt everyday life so that each child can thrive, and we have small groups of children per adult.

We offer
Kindergarten and nursery:
– 25 places in kindergarten
-10 places in nursery
– Full-day care module
– 35-hour care per week module
– Evening and night care (by appointment)
Schoolchildren (we pick up the youngest at the bus stop):
– Full-day place – before and after school
– Half-day place – after school
Opening hours are Monday to Thursday 6.15-16.45, Friday 6.15 – 15.45
Physical setting
We are situated right in the middle of the area west of Ulfborg in the building called “The Old School” in Sønder Nissum, where we have good and modern premises for play and activity, a small play/reading room, a bedroom and a large kitchen.
The nursery is located in a new extension, here there are 2 rooms, a playroom and a bathroom.
We have a large, new and beautiful outside playground and activity area with a play castle, climbing wall, slides, sandbox, campfire site, labyrinth, go-karts and bike path.
We also have a small forest where we can play and build caves.
Next to our playground we have a multi-purpose activity area and a bouncy castle that we can use freely.
We also have access to all the fantastic facilities inside Multihallen in Sønder Nissum for play and exercise.
The nursery has its own playground, with a sandbox, a slide, swings, berry bushes, a playhouse and a grass area.
We live close to the fjord, the forest and the sea and go on many trips into nature.
In both the kindergarten and the nursery, we prioritize outdoor life very highly and are outside every day. We use our beautiful local environment with forest, fjord and sea a lot.
